Introduction
1. Purpose of this Certification Policy
This Certification Policy explains the eligibility requirements, certification standards, assessment procedures and conditions governing the MBH Leadership Certification offered by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Its purpose is to provide transparency, consistency and fairness throughout the certification process while protecting the integrity, credibility, consistency and professional reputation of the MBH Leadership Certification and the Mind Body Horsemanship brand.
This Certification Policy applies to all Members who apply for, participate in or obtain the MBH Leadership Certification, whether successful or unsuccessful, together with any certification assessments, practical evaluations, resubmissions, feedback, certificates or related certification activities offered by Mind Body Horsemanship.
This Certification Policy forms part of the overall contractual framework governing the MBH Leadership Certification and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Community Guidelines, Disclaimer and any other legal policies or certification requirements published by Mind Body Horsemanship.
The MBH Leadership Certification is an educational certification developed and administered exclusively by Mind Body Horsemanship. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, it is not a governmental licence, statutory qualification, university degree, regulated professional certification or accreditation issued or recognised by any governmental authority, educational institution or professional licensing body, nor does it authorise a Member to represent themselves as an employee, agent or official representative of Mind Body Horsemanship.
Participation in the certification process does not guarantee that certification will be awarded. Certification is granted solely where a Member has successfully satisfied the requirements, standards and assessment criteria established by Mind Body Horsemanship in accordance with this Certification Policy.
Mind Body Horsemanship reserves the right, acting reasonably, in good faith and in accordance with applicable law, to establish, interpret, apply and, where appropriate, update the certification requirements, assessment criteria, certification standards and related procedures in accordance with this Certification Policy and our Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in this Certification Policy limits or excludes any mandatory statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
Where applicable law grants Members rights that are more favourable than the provisions of this Certification Policy, those mandatory legal rights shall prevail to the extent required by law.
This Certification Policy forms an integral part of the Terms & Conditions governing your purchase and use of the Mind Body Horsemanship Website, MBH Academy, the MBH Leadership Certification and our Services.
Part II
The Certification Programme
2. MBH Leadership Certification
The MBH Leadership Certification is an advanced educational certification programme developed, owned, maintained and administered exclusively by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Its purpose is to fairly and consistently assess whether a Member has demonstrated an appropriate level of knowledge, practical understanding and application of the principles, methods and standards taught within MBH Academy, as determined by Mind Body Horsemanship.
The certification process is designed to evaluate a Member's understanding of the MBH educational methodology through one or more assessment components, which may include written assessments, practical exercises, video submissions, case studies, assignments, observations, interviews or any other assessment activities determined by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Certification standards are established solely by Mind Body Horsemanship and may include both objective assessment criteria and professional judgment-based evaluation where reasonably appropriate.
The MBH Leadership Certification is intended to recognise successful completion of the certification requirements established by Mind Body Horsemanship. It reflects successful performance against the certification standards applicable at the time the certification is awarded.
Certification confirms only that a Member has successfully satisfied the certification requirements established by Mind Body Horsemanship at a specific point in time. It does not guarantee future competence, ongoing proficiency, professional success, employment opportunities, business success, financial results or any particular outcome when working with horses or horse owners.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, the MBH Leadership Certification does not constitute a governmental licence, regulated professional qualification, statutory accreditation, university qualification or any other certification recognised by governmental authorities or professional licensing bodies.
The MBH Leadership Certification does not authorise a Member to represent themselves as an employee, agent, partner, franchisee or official representative of Mind Body Horsemanship, nor does it grant any ownership, management or decision-making authority within Mind Body Horsemanship.
Certification does not create any employment relationship, partnership, agency, joint venture or any other legal relationship between a Member and Mind Body Horsemanship.
Certification is awarded solely at the discretion of Mind Body Horsemanship where a Member has successfully satisfied all applicable certification requirements, assessment criteria and professional standards in accordance with this Certification Policy.
Mind Body Horsemanship reserves the right, acting reasonably, in good faith and in accordance with applicable law, to determine the content, structure, requirements, assessment methods, certification criteria and administration of the MBH Leadership Certification and to modify, suspend or discontinue the certification programme where reasonably necessary.
Nothing in this section limits any provisions contained in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or any other applicable legal policies governing the MBH Leadership Certification, MBH Academy or our Services.
Part III

- maintain an active Member Account throughout the certification process where continued access to MBH Academy is required;
- complete all mandatory learning modules, lessons or educational content designated as prerequisites for certification;

- provide accurate, complete and truthful information throughout the certification process;
- cooperate in good faith with any reasonable requests made during the certification process;
- and satisfy any additional eligibility requirements that may reasonably apply to the relevant certification programme.
Meeting the eligibility requirements permits participation in the certification process only. It does not create any entitlement to certification or any expectation that certification will ultimately be awarded.
Mind Body Horsemanship reserves the right, acting reasonably, in good faith and in accordance with applicable law, to determine whether a Member satisfies the applicable eligibility requirements and may refuse, suspend or terminate participation in the certification process where those requirements are not met.
A Member may become ineligible to participate in, or continue with, the certification process where, for example:
- eligibility requirements are no longer satisfied;
- false, misleading, incomplete or omitted information has been provided;
- certification materials are not submitted in accordance with the applicable requirements;
- the Member fails to cooperate with reasonable requests relating to the certification process;
- the Member breaches this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or any other applicable legal policies;

Nothing in this section limits any additional eligibility requirements, assessment criteria or certification standards established by Mind Body Horsemanship or otherwise required under applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any other provisions contained in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or any other applicable legal policies governing the MBH Leadership Certification, MBH Academy or our Services.
Part IV

4. Certification Submission Requirements
Members seeking the MBH Leadership Certification must submit all required certification materials in accordance with the requirements, instructions, deadlines and any additional requirements communicated by Mind Body Horsemanship.

- assessment responses;
- case studies;
- reflections;
- practical demonstrations;
- supporting documentation;
- and any other materials required as part of the certification process.
Members remain solely responsible for ensuring that all submitted materials are complete, accurate, legible, accessible and capable of being reviewed by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Where certification submissions include photographs, videos or other recordings, Members are responsible for ensuring that they have obtained all necessary permissions, consents and legal rights required for the creation and submission of those materials, including, where applicable, the consent of any identifiable individual appearing in the submitted material.
Certification submissions must not:
- contain false, misleading or deceptive information;
- contain plagiarised content or content copied from another person;
- be completed by another individual on behalf of the Member;
- intentionally misrepresent the Member's abilities, experience or performance;
- contain manipulated, fabricated or materially altered evidence intended to mislead the assessment process;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights of any third party;
- contain unlawful, offensive, abusive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate material;
- or otherwise breach this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or applicable law.
The use of artificial intelligence ("AI"), automated content generation tools or other technological assistance must not substitute for the Member's own knowledge, judgement or practical ability where the purpose of the assessment is to evaluate the Member's personal competence. Mind Body Horsemanship reserves the right, acting reasonably and in good faith, to determine whether the use of such tools is compatible with the objectives of a particular certification assessment.
Members remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality and integrity of all submitted certification materials, regardless of whether technological tools have been used in their preparation.
Mind Body Horsemanship reserves the right to reject, disregard, delay the review of, request correction of or require resubmission of any certification materials that do not comply with the applicable certification requirements or that cannot reasonably be assessed.
Submission of certification materials does not guarantee that the materials will be accepted for assessment or that certification will be awarded.
Certification submissions become part of the certification record maintained by Mind Body Horsemanship and may be retained, processed and securely stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Members are responsible for retaining copies of any certification materials submitted to Mind Body Horsemanship. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, Mind Body Horsemanship is under no obligation to return, preserve or restore submitted materials.
Nothing in this section limits any assessment criteria, submission requirements or certification standards established elsewhere in this Certification Policy or otherwise determined by Mind Body Horsemanship in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any other provisions contained in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions, any other applicable legal policies or any individual written certification requirements governing the MBH Leadership Certification, MBH Academy or our Services.
Part V
Assessment
5. Assessment Process
All certification submissions are assessed by Mind Body Horsemanship in accordance with the certification standards, assessment criteria, assessment procedures and professional expectations applicable to the MBH Leadership Certification.
The purpose of the assessment process is to fairly, consistently and professionally evaluate whether a Member has demonstrated the knowledge, judgement, practical understanding, consistent application and overall competence required by the MBH Leadership Certification.
Assessment may be based upon one or more evaluation methods, including written submissions, practical exercises, video assessments, case studies, observations, interviews, practical demonstrations or any other assessment activities determined by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Assessment is based on the Member's overall performance against the applicable certification requirements, having regard to the certification objectives as a whole, rather than on any single exercise, submission or isolated assessment activity.
In conducting an assessment, Mind Body Horsemanship may consider, where relevant:
- technical accuracy;
- practical competence;
- understanding and application of the MBH methodology;
- leadership, communication and relationship-building skills with the horse;
- decision-making and professional judgement;
- safety awareness and responsible horse handling;
- the Member's ability to apply MBH principles safely, consistently and appropriately in practical situations;
- consistency of performance;
- communication and instructional ability, where applicable;
- compliance with the MBH Leadership Standards, including the MBH Principles of Professional Conduct;
- and any other assessment criteria reasonably applicable to the certification programme.
Assessment may include both objective assessment criteria and professional judgement-based evaluation where appropriate. No single assessment criterion is necessarily determinative unless expressly stated otherwise by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Mind Body Horsemanship reserves the right to request additional information, clarification, corrections, supplementary submissions or further practical demonstrations where reasonably necessary to complete an assessment or verify a Member's competency.
Where reasonably necessary, Mind Body Horsemanship may postpone, suspend, defer or decline to assess a certification submission until sufficient information has been provided to enable a fair, reliable and meaningful evaluation.
Certification assessments are conducted in good faith, applying the certification standards consistently and without any obligation to award certification where the applicable standards have not been satisfied.
Mind Body Horsemanship may use internal assessment guidelines, scoring frameworks, evaluation procedures or other quality assurance processes to promote consistency throughout the certification process. Such internal materials remain confidential and do not form part of this Certification Policy.
Members are not entitled to observe, participate in or otherwise influence the internal assessment process beyond the submission requirements established by Mind Body Horsemanship.
The assessment process does not create any obligation on the part of Mind Body Horsemanship to disclose internal evaluation methods, scoring systems, assessment notes, deliberations, reviewer comments or any other confidential assessment materials, except where disclosure is required by applicable law.
The final certification outcome is determined solely by Mind Body Horsemanship in accordance with this Certification Policy, the applicable certification standards and the professional judgement of the assessor(s).
Minor procedural variations that do not materially affect the fairness, consistency or integrity of the assessment process shall not invalidate any certification decision.
Nothing in this section limits any assessment criteria, certification standards or professional requirements established elsewhere in this Certification Policy or otherwise determined by Mind Body Horsemanship in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any other provisions contained in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or any other applicable legal policies governing the MBH Leadership Certification, MBH Academy or our Services.
Part VI
Outcomes
6. Certification Decisions
Following completion of the assessment process, Mind Body Horsemanship will determine the appropriate certification outcome in accordance with this Certification Policy, the applicable certification standards and the professional judgement of the authorised assessor(s) designated by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Certification decisions are made fairly, consistently, in good faith and on the basis of the information reasonably available at the time of assessment.
Depending on the outcome of the assessment, Mind Body Horsemanship may determine that:
- the Member has successfully satisfied all applicable certification requirements and certification is awarded;
- additional information, clarification or supplementary submissions are required before a final decision can be made;
- one or more certification components require resubmission in accordance with this Certification Policy;
- further assessment is required before a certification decision can be reached;
- certification is conditionally approved, subject to the Member satisfying any outstanding requirements specified by Mind Body Horsemanship;
- certification is not awarded because the applicable certification requirements or standards have not been satisfied;
- or another certification outcome is appropriate in the particular circumstances, where permitted by this Certification Policy or applicable law.
Certification is awarded only after Mind Body Horsemanship has determined that all applicable certification requirements, assessment criteria and professional standards have been successfully satisfied.
Where certification is awarded, the Member may receive a certificate or other confirmation of certification in digital, physical or any other format determined by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Certification outcomes are communicated in the manner determined by Mind Body Horsemanship, which may include email, MBH Academy, Member Accounts or any other appropriate communication method.
Where certification is not awarded, Mind Body Horsemanship may, where appropriate and at its discretion, provide summary feedback or information regarding the outcome. Nothing in this Certification Policy obliges Mind Body Horsemanship to disclose confidential assessment materials, internal evaluation methods, scoring systems, reviewer notes or other confidential information.
Where this Certification Policy permits resubmission or further assessment, the certification process may continue in accordance with the applicable provisions governing resubmissions, appeals or other certification procedures.
Certification decisions are final, subject only to any resubmission, appeal or review process expressly provided for under this Certification Policy.
Mind Body Horsemanship reserves the right, acting reasonably, in good faith and in accordance with applicable law, to correct clerical, administrative, typographical or manifest errors in certification decisions where reasonably necessary.
Certification decisions are based solely on compliance with the applicable certification standards and do not create any entitlement to future certification, recertification, employment, affiliation with Mind Body Horsemanship, professional recognition, business opportunities or any other benefit beyond those expressly granted by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Nothing in this section limits any provisions relating to resubmissions, appeals, suspension, revocation or any other certification procedures described elsewhere in this Certification Policy.
Nothing in this section limits any other provisions contained in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or any other applicable legal policies governing the MBH Leadership Certification, MBH Academy or our Services.
Part VII
Resubmissions
7. Resubmissions
Where permitted at the sole discretion of Mind Body Horsemanship or otherwise provided for under this Certification Policy, a Member may be invited or permitted to resubmit one or more certification components following an assessment.
A resubmission is intended to provide a Member with an opportunity to address identified deficiencies, satisfy outstanding certification requirements, provide additional information or demonstrate that the applicable certification standards have subsequently been satisfied.
Permission to submit additional certification materials or undertake a further assessment does not constitute a new certification process or create any entitlement to certification.
Unless expressly stated otherwise by Mind Body Horsemanship, any resubmission must:
- comply with all applicable certification requirements, assessment criteria and submission instructions;
- address the matters identified during the previous assessment, where applicable;
- be submitted within any timeframe specified by Mind Body Horsemanship;
- accurately reflect the Member's own current knowledge, judgement and practical ability at the time of resubmission;
- consist of the Member's own original work;
- satisfy any updated technical, administrative or procedural requirements applicable to the resubmission;
- include any additional information reasonably requested by Mind Body Horsemanship;
- and otherwise comply with this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions and any other applicable legal policies.
Mind Body Horsemanship reserves the right, acting reasonably, in good faith and in accordance with applicable law, to determine:
- whether a resubmission will be permitted;
- which certification components, if any, must be resubmitted;
- whether previously submitted materials may be reused or whether new materials must be submitted;
- the number of resubmissions permitted, if any;
- the applicable submission deadlines;
- whether additional assessment activities are required;
- whether updated certification requirements or assessment criteria apply;
- and whether any reasonable administrative or assessment fee applies, where such fee has been clearly disclosed in advance.
A resubmission will be assessed in accordance with the certification standards and assessment procedures applicable at the time of the resubmission, unless Mind Body Horsemanship expressly determines otherwise.
Where a Member fails to submit the required materials within the applicable timeframe, fails to comply with the applicable certification requirements or otherwise fails to complete the resubmission process, Mind Body Horsemanship may determine that the certification process has concluded without certification being awarded.
Resubmissions do not replace or erase previous assessment records, which may continue to form part of the Member's certification record in accordance with this Certification Policy, our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
The outcome of any resubmission shall be determined in accordance with the Assessment Process and Certification Decisions provisions contained in this Certification Policy.
Permission to resubmit does not limit the discretion of Mind Body Horsemanship to determine whether the applicable certification standards have ultimately been satisfied.
Failure to satisfy the applicable certification requirements following a permitted resubmission does not, by itself, create any entitlement to additional resubmissions or further assessment opportunities.
Nothing in this section obliges Mind Body Horsemanship to permit unlimited resubmissions, repeated reassessments or ongoing review of certification materials.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory statutory rights available under applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any other provisions contained in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions, any other applicable legal policies or any individual written certification requirements governing the MBH Leadership Certification, MBH Academy or our Services.
Part VIII
Use of Certification
8. Use of Certification
Where a Member has been awarded the MBH Leadership Certification, the Member may refer to that certification only in accordance with this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions, any applicable certification requirements established by Mind Body Horsemanship and only for so long as the certification remains valid.
Certification may be used solely to accurately and truthfully represent that the Member has successfully completed the MBH Leadership Certification awarded by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Certification must not be used in any manner that is false, misleading, deceptive or likely to create confusion regarding the nature, scope or status of the certification.
Unless expressly authorised in writing by Mind Body Horsemanship, certification does not permit a Member to:
- represent themselves as an employee, agent, partner, franchisee or official representative of Mind Body Horsemanship;
- suggest that Mind Body Horsemanship endorses, guarantees or supervises their business, services or professional activities;
- claim that certification constitutes a governmental licence, regulated professional qualification or official accreditation;
- falsely imply that they hold a higher level, category or scope of certification than has actually been awarded;
- use the Mind Body Horsemanship name, logos, trademarks or other brand assets except as expressly permitted;
- modify, reproduce or alter any certificate, certification mark or other certification materials;
- use certification in a manner that is misleading, fraudulent, defamatory or otherwise unlawful;
- use the certification in a manner that damages or is reasonably likely to damage the reputation, integrity or goodwill of Mind Body Horsemanship;
- imply that certification extends beyond the scope expressly awarded by Mind Body Horsemanship;
- or make any representation that is inconsistent with this Certification Policy or applicable law.
Where Mind Body Horsemanship provides certification logos, badges, digital credentials or other certification marks, such materials may be used only in accordance with any branding, licensing or usage guidelines issued by Mind Body Horsemanship and may be updated, modified or withdrawn at any time.
Certification remains subject to this Certification Policy and any continuing obligations applicable to certified Members, including any ongoing obligations relating to professional conduct and ethical standards.
Certification may not be assigned, transferred, licensed or otherwise made available to any other individual or organisation.
Where certification expires, is suspended, revoked or otherwise ceases to be valid, the Member must promptly cease representing themselves as certified and must discontinue any use of the relevant certificate, certification marks, logos, digital credentials or related representations unless expressly authorised otherwise in writing by Mind Body Horsemanship.
The Member must also remove or correct, within a reasonable period specified by Mind Body Horsemanship, any public statements, website content, marketing materials, social media profiles or other representations that indicate or imply that the certification remains valid.
Mind Body Horsemanship reserves the right, acting reasonably, in good faith and in accordance with applicable law, to require the correction or removal of any inaccurate, misleading or unauthorised reference to the MBH Leadership Certification.
Unauthorised or improper use of the MBH Leadership Certification, certification marks or related intellectual property may result in suspension or revocation of certification, termination of Academy access where appropriate, legal action or any other remedies available under applicable law.
Nothing in this section grants any ownership, licensing, commercial or other intellectual property rights in the Mind Body Horsemanship name, trademarks, logos, certification marks or other proprietary materials except as expressly authorised in writing by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Nothing in this section prevents Mind Body Horsemanship from taking reasonable action to protect its intellectual property, certification programme or brand reputation where misuse of certification is identified.
Nothing in this section limits any provisions relating to intellectual property, suspension, revocation or professional conduct contained elsewhere in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or any other applicable legal policies.
Nothing in this section limits any other provisions contained in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or any other applicable legal policies governing the MBH Leadership Certification, MBH Academy or our Services.
Part IX

- treat clients, Members, students, colleagues and other individuals with professionalism, fairness and respect;
- comply with applicable laws, regulations and professional obligations relevant to their activities;
- avoid dishonest, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, discriminatory or otherwise unethical conduct;
- avoid conduct that is reasonably likely to bring the MBH Leadership Certification or Mind Body Horsemanship into disrepute;

- maintain the integrity of the certification process by avoiding plagiarism, falsification of information, impersonation or any other form of academic or professional misconduct;
- and conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the educational principles and professional standards promoted by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Certified Members are expected to take reasonable steps to continue developing their knowledge, practical skills and professional judgement after certification in order to maintain high standards of horsemanship and professional practice.
Certified Members remain solely responsible for all decisions, advice, instruction and professional services that they provide to third parties.
Nothing in this Certification Policy creates an ongoing obligation for Mind Body Horsemanship to supervise, monitor, endorse or assume responsibility for the professional activities of certified Members.
Compliance with the MBH Principles of Professional Conduct is an ongoing condition of maintaining the MBH Leadership Certification.
Failure to comply with the MBH Principles of Professional Conduct may result in investigation, corrective measures, suspension, revocation of certification or any other action permitted under this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or applicable law.
Nothing in this section prevents Mind Body Horsemanship from adopting or publishing additional professional standards, codes of conduct, ethical guidelines, best practice recommendations or certification requirements from time to time.
Nothing in this section limits any provisions relating to suspension, revocation, intellectual property or use of certification contained elsewhere in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or any other applicable legal policies.
Nothing in this section limits any other provisions contained in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions, any other applicable legal policies or any individual written certification requirements governing the MBH Leadership Certification, MBH Academy or our Services.
Part X
Appeals
10. Appeals Process
Mind Body Horsemanship is committed to administering the MBH Leadership Certification fairly, consistently, impartially and in good faith.
Where a Member believes that a certification decision has been affected by a material procedural error, administrative error or other exceptional circumstance that may have materially affected the outcome, the Member may submit an appeal in accordance with this Certification Policy.
An appeal is not a new assessment, a resubmission or an opportunity to submit additional evidence, improve a previous submission, seek a different outcome solely because the Member disagrees with the certification decision or challenge the professional judgement of the assessor merely because the Member is dissatisfied with the outcome.
Appeals are intended solely to review whether the certification process was conducted in accordance with this Certification Policy and whether any material error or other relevant circumstance may have affected the certification decision.
Unless expressly stated otherwise by Mind Body Horsemanship, an appeal should:
- be submitted within any reasonable timeframe specified by Mind Body Horsemanship;
- clearly identify the certification decision being appealed;
- explain the grounds for the appeal;
- include any information reasonably necessary to support the appeal;
- be submitted by the Member personally or by an authorised representative, where permitted by applicable law;
- and otherwise comply with any applicable appeal procedures established by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Mind Body Horsemanship reserves the right, acting reasonably, in good faith and in accordance with applicable law, to determine:
- whether an appeal satisfies the applicable appeal requirements;
- whether additional information or clarification is reasonably required;
- whether the appeal raises any material issue requiring further review;
- whether the original certification decision should remain in effect while the appeal is under review;
- the procedure by which the appeal will be considered;
- and the appropriate outcome of the appeal.
An appeal does not automatically suspend, reverse or invalidate the original certification decision unless and until Mind Body Horsemanship determines otherwise.
Following review of an appeal, Mind Body Horsemanship may:
- dismiss the appeal where it does not satisfy the applicable appeal requirements;
- uphold the original certification decision;
- correct any clerical, administrative or procedural error;
- require further assessment or review;
- direct that a resubmission be permitted where appropriate;
- modify the certification decision where justified;
- or take any other action reasonably considered appropriate under the circumstances and permitted by applicable law.
The outcome of an appeal shall be determined by Mind Body Horsemanship in accordance with this Certification Policy and, unless otherwise required by applicable law, shall be final, subject only to any mandatory rights available under applicable law.
The submission of an appeal does not create any entitlement to certification, compensation or any other remedy unless such entitlement arises under this Certification Policy or applicable law.
Nothing in this section obliges Mind Body Horsemanship to reconsider matters that have already been properly assessed or to disclose confidential assessment materials, internal evaluation methods, scoring systems, reviewer notes, deliberations, fraud prevention measures or other confidential information, except where disclosure is required by applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory statutory rights or remedies available under applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any other provisions contained in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions, any other applicable legal policies or any individual written certification requirements governing the MBH Leadership Certification, MBH Academy or our Services.
Part XI
Certification Status
11. Suspension or Revocation
Mind Body Horsemanship is committed to maintaining the integrity, credibility and professional reputation of the MBH Leadership Certification.
Where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the certification programme, the reputation of Mind Body Horsemanship, the welfare of horses, the interests of Members or the confidence of the public, Mind Body Horsemanship may suspend or revoke a Member's certification in accordance with this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions and applicable law.
Certification may be suspended or revoked where, for example:
- the Member no longer satisfies the applicable certification requirements;
- the Member materially breaches this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or any other applicable legal policies;
- the Member materially breaches the MBH Principles of Professional Conduct;
- the Member fails to comply with any continuing obligations applicable to certified Members;
- false, misleading or fraudulent information was provided during the certification process;
- certification was obtained through dishonesty, misrepresentation, plagiarism, impersonation or any other improper conduct;
- the Member makes false, misleading or unauthorised representations regarding their certification or relationship with Mind Body Horsemanship;
- the Member misuses the MBH Leadership Certification, certification marks, certificates, logos or other intellectual property;
- the Member engages in conduct that is reasonably likely to damage the reputation, credibility or integrity of the MBH Leadership Certification or Mind Body Horsemanship;
- the Member refuses to cooperate with a reasonable certification compliance or investigation process where such cooperation is reasonably required;
- the Member fails to comply with any reasonable corrective measures required by Mind Body Horsemanship following a certification review or investigation;
- continued certification would otherwise be inconsistent with the objectives of the MBH Leadership Certification or the legitimate interests of Mind Body Horsemanship;
- or suspension or revocation is otherwise reasonably justified under this Certification Policy or applicable law.
Where reasonably practicable, Mind Body Horsemanship may, before suspending or revoking certification, provide the Member with a reasonable opportunity to respond or provide relevant information. Nothing in this section obliges Mind Body Horsemanship to do so where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the certification programme, the welfare of horses, the rights of third parties or the legitimate interests of Mind Body Horsemanship.
A suspension may be temporary and subject to conditions determined by Mind Body Horsemanship. A suspension may remain in effect until those conditions have been satisfied. A revocation permanently withdraws the relevant certification unless Mind Body Horsemanship expressly determines otherwise in writing.
Where certification is suspended or revoked, the Member must immediately cease representing themselves as holding the MBH Leadership Certification, immediately cease any public or commercial use of the certification and comply with all applicable obligations relating to the use of certification contained in this Certification Policy.
Mind Body Horsemanship may require the Member to cease using or displaying certificates, certification marks, digital credentials, logos or other representations indicating that certification remains valid and may require inaccurate or misleading public statements, marketing materials, websites, social media profiles or other representations to be corrected or removed within a reasonable period.
Suspension or revocation of certification does not automatically entitle the Member to a refund, compensation or any other remedy unless expressly required by applicable law or otherwise agreed in writing by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Mind Body Horsemanship reserves the right, acting reasonably, in good faith and in accordance with applicable law, to maintain appropriate internal records relating to certification suspensions or revocations for quality assurance, compliance and legal purposes in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Nothing in this section prevents Mind Body Horsemanship from taking any additional contractual, legal or equitable action available under applicable law where reasonably necessary to protect its certification programme, intellectual property, business interests or reputation.
Nothing in this section prevents a Member whose certification has been revoked from applying for certification again in the future where expressly permitted by Mind Body Horsemanship. Any such application shall be assessed in accordance with the certification requirements applicable at the time of the new application.
Nothing in this section limits any provisions relating to appeals, professional conduct, intellectual property or use of certification contained elsewhere in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions or any other applicable legal policies.
Nothing in this section limits any other provisions contained in this Certification Policy, our Terms & Conditions, any other applicable legal policies or any individual written certification requirements governing the MBH Leadership Certification, MBH Academy or our Services.

The MBH Leadership Certification does not constitute, and must not be represented as:
- a governmental licence;

Individual outcomes depend upon numerous factors beyond the control of Mind Body Horsemanship, including the Member's knowledge, practical ability, judgement, experience, continued learning, communication skills, business practices, compliance with applicable laws, market conditions, the conduct of third parties and the specific circumstances in which the Member applies the knowledge acquired through MBH Academy.
Nothing in the MBH Leadership Certification creates any employment relationship, agency, partnership, franchise, joint venture, affiliation or other legal relationship between the Member and Mind Body Horsemanship.
Certification does not create any obligation for Mind Body Horsemanship to supervise, monitor, endorse, promote, recommend or assume responsibility for the professional activities, services or business operations of certified Members.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Mind Body Horsemanship has no obligation to provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, business support, professional supervision, recertification opportunities, continuing education or future certification updates following the award of certification.
Members remain solely responsible for all professional decisions, advice, instruction, services and business activities undertaken following certification, including compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and professional obligations.

Whenever this Certification Policy is updated, the revised version will be published on our Website, where appropriate, together with the updated "Last Updated" date displayed at the beginning or end of this Certification Policy.
Where required by applicable law, or where changes materially affect the rights, obligations or certification requirements applicable to Members participating in the certification programme, Mind Body Horsemanship will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate notice before such changes become effective. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, changes to this Certification Policy become effective upon publication of the updated version.
Changes to this Certification Policy apply only from their effective date and do not apply retrospectively to certification applications, assessments, certification decisions or certifications awarded before the changes became effective, unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated by Mind Body Horsemanship.
Where reasonably necessary to preserve the integrity, fairness, consistency or proper administration of the MBH Leadership Certification, Mind Body Horsemanship may apply updated certification procedures, assessment requirements or administrative processes to certification activities that are ongoing at the time the changes become effective, where fair and reasonably practicable, provided that doing so does not adversely affect any mandatory statutory rights or otherwise conflict with applicable law.
We encourage Members to review this Certification Policy periodically, particularly before commencing a certification application or participating in any certification assessment, so that they remain informed about the rules, standards and procedures governing the MBH Leadership Certification.
Nothing in this Certification Policy guarantees that the MBH Leadership Certification, any certification pathway, assessment method, assessment process, certification standard or related programme will continue to be offered indefinitely or in its current form.
